The Full form of MRF is Madras Rubber Factory Limited. Commonly abbreviated as MRF, it is a private limited company and the largest Tyre manufacturing company based in India. It manufactures all types of tyres, most especially vehicle tyres, tubes, treads, etc.
It was established as a private limited company. Currently, MRF exports tyres in more than 65 countries including the Gulf, Middle East, Japan, America, Europe, and the Pacific region. It operates overseas offices in Vietnam, Dubai, and Australia. MRF started the production of Nylon tyres for the first time in 1973. The manufactured goods of the company include vehicle tyres, conveyor belts, paints etc. MRF produces different types of light to heavy-weight vehicle tyres. For example two-wheeler, cars, trucks, tractors, excavators, buses, light commercial vehicles, etc. Under the Conveyor Belts segment, it manufactures the in-house brand of Muscleflex conveyor belts.
MRF produces polyurethane paint formulations and coats for automotive, decorative, and industrial purposes. MRF also works in areas such as MRF Racing, Motorsport, MRF Motocross and MRF Karting. MRF Pace foundation also deals in MRF cricket bats and provides training to fast bowlers.
